Electronics Recycling

Business electronics recycling, done carefully

When retired IT equipment has no viable second life, we recycle it. Every device is securely handled first, then sorted into boards, metals, and plastics that move on as recycled feedstock. The metals in last decade's devices are already above ground, and recovering them here means a shorter chain and fewer new pits.

Recycling after secure handling

Recycling is the last step in our process, never the first. Data is handled before anything is reused or recycled. We wipe eligible drives and document the results, and we destroy drives that cannot be wiped. Equipment that can be remarketed goes on to a second life first. What remains comes to recycling, with custody documented from pickup through processing.

What happens to the material

End-of-life electronics are not trash. They are material that still has value.

  1. 01

    Sort.

We separate equipment by type and condition.

  2. 02

    Recover.

Circuit boards, metals, and plastics are pulled into their own streams.

  3. 03

    Return to use.

Each stream goes to downstream partners as recycled feedstock, keeping useful materials in a domestic loop.

Kansas City is a good place to do this work. The NSF Critical Materials Crossroads, the UMKC-led NSF Engine, is building the region's capacity to recover and refine these materials. We are glad to work in that neighborhood.

We are working toward R2 certification.

Who this is for

We work with businesses and organizations, not household drop-off. Typical clients include:

  • Offices clearing out retired computers, monitors, and peripherals
  • Warehouses and data closets with mixed or aging equipment
  • IT teams wrapping up refresh projects or consolidating sites

Our home base is the Kansas City metro, and we regularly serve St. Joseph, Clinton, Wichita, Manhattan KS, and Columbia. For sites farther out, we can coordinate nationwide. Pickup comes with a receipt and documented custody, and no loading dock is required. Business pickup
