What ITAD means here

IT asset disposition, or ITAD, is how a business retires equipment it no longer needs. For us, that means three things in order: secure end-of-life handling, value recovery when viable, and responsible recycling of what remains. Security is the foundation. Value is layered on top, never a substitute.

How we handle your assets

  1. 01

    Collect with custody.

    We pick up from your site and your chain of custody starts right there, with a receipt for what we take. No loading dock required.

  2. 02

    Wipe or destroy.

    We sanitize eligible drives and document the results. When your policy calls for physical destruction, or a drive cannot be wiped, we shred it. You receive certificates for your records.

  3. 03

    Remarket when viable.

    Equipment with market value is tested and resold, with a share of proceeds returned to you.

  4. 04

    Recycle the remainder.

    Material that has reached the end of the line becomes feedstock for recovery, keeping critical materials in circulation.

We are based in the Kansas City metro, serve the surrounding region including St. Joseph, Clinton, Wichita, Manhattan KS, and Columbia, and can coordinate nationwide. Kansas City is a good place for this work, close to the NSF Critical Materials Crossroads and its effort to build regional capacity for recovering these materials. We are working toward R2 certification, and our process follows those responsible recycling standards today.

Yes. Every device is wiped or its storage destroyed before any remarketing decision is made, and you receive documentation either way.

Will we get money back for our equipment?

Sometimes. Age, condition, and current demand decide what is viable. When resale makes sense, we share proceeds, and we give you an honest picture first.

Do you work with businesses outside Kansas City?

Yes. We regularly serve the surrounding region and can coordinate pickup for sites across the country.
