Healthcare

Secure disposal for medical office electronics, documented from pickup to final step.

Clinics, hospitals, dental offices, and outpatient centers retire computers and devices that may hold patient information. We collect them, protect the data first, and give you a clear record of what happened to each item. Equipment that can be reused goes back to work. The rest is recycled responsibly.

Why healthcare needs careful disposal

Electronic devices in a healthcare setting often store protected health information, and that data does not disappear when a machine is unplugged. Under HIPAA, your organization is responsible for how electronic media is disposed of. We help you meet that obligation with secure handling, chain of custody, and documentation suited to regulated environments.

How we protect patient data

  1. Step 1

    Custody.

We pick up from your facility and give you a receipt that documents what left your hands.

  2. Step 2

    Wipe or shred.

Storage is wiped using recognized sanitization methods, or physically shredded when wiping is not suitable or not requested.

  3. Step 3

    Documentation.

You receive records of the data destruction for your files.

  4. Step 4

    Reuse when viable.

Only after secure handling, equipment with remaining life is tested and remarketed.

  5. Step 5

    Recycle the remainder.

Anything that cannot be reused is broken down and returned to the supply chain as feedstock.

We are working toward R2 certification, and our process is built around those responsible recycling standards today.

What we handle from clinics and hospitals

  • Desktops, laptops, and workstations on wheels
  • Servers, storage arrays, and loose hard drives
  • Multifunction copiers and printers with internal drives
  • Monitors, tablets, and phones
  • Network gear, cabling, and accessories

We serve healthcare organizations across the Kansas City metro, the surrounding region, and nationwide.

Frequently asked questions

Are you HIPAA certified?

There is no official HIPAA certification for recyclers. What we provide is documented data destruction and chain of custody that help your organization meet its HIPAA obligations for disposing of electronic media.

Can we choose shredding instead of wiping?

Yes. Many healthcare organizations prefer physical destruction for drives that held patient data. We will follow your policy and document the result.

What happens to equipment after the data is handled?

Devices with remaining value are tested and reused. Everything else is recycled, so materials already above ground stay useful.
